March 26, 2024

*This event has already taken place.

March 26, 2024,
9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Location: Eskenazi Hospital Conference Venue, 720 Eskenazi Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46202

The Mayor’s Office of International and Latino Affairs, in partnership with the Immigrant Welcome Center, are hosting a summit for our immigrant neighbors around mental health.

Aims of this mental health summit are:

  • To create and support community-based education and intervention services for immigrant and refugee families, youth, and adolescents at risk for co-occurring mental health/substance and opioid use disorders.
  • To create awareness about culturally responsive services and programs for persons with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and any co-occurring substance use disorder/mental health conditions, including new Americans.
  • To engage non-profits and faith-based communities as systems to support prevention.
