Administrative Assistant
The administrative assistant is responsible for maintaining smooth office operations of Child Care Answers. This role will perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties on a professional level in overall office activities, including but not limited to purchasing and expense reporting.

Multicultural Family Engagement Specialist
The multicultural family engagement specialist will be able to communicate services, including reading, writing, and translating, in Spanish to families in Hamilton, Hendricks and Marion counties by providing services and programming through a two-generation (2GEN) approach that best supports the whole family’s well-being. They will deliver consumer education and referrals to early care and education programs, with a special focus on immigrant families or families in which English is not the first language spoken, specifically the Spanish-speaking community. As a part of the duties, they provide consumer education and referrals in Spanish and other languages to early childhood programs for families residing in Hamilton, Hendricks, and Marion Counties . They are responsible for responding to the needs of families with information and support through individual consultations and educational material about quality care and education.
They will provide parents, in partnership with other organizations, consumer education and resources on topics such as child development and choosing quality child care, including licensing requirements and the state’s quality rating system. They assist families with finding quality child care that best meets the family’s needs. Fostering relationships with community organizations who support families will be imperative in this role. The bilingual family engagement specialist will collaborate effectively with neighborhood, city, and regional projects, in addition to government, corporations, and non-profit family-facing organizations.
