Invest in Stronger Child Care
Financial support of Child Care Answers
Your investment in Child Care Answers is an investment in stronger child care across central Indiana. We equip child care professionals, support sustainable child care programs, and bring partners together around solutions that help children, families, employers, and communities thrive. Every gift helps strengthen the early care and education system our region depends on today and for the future.
Direct Gifts
The most common and immediate way to support our mission is through a direct financial donation. You can make a secure, one-time gift or create a long-lasting legacy by setting up a recurring donation. Recurring gifts provide reliable, sustained funding that allows us to plan long-term programs for families and providers.

Appreciated assets
Tax-smart giving
Donating appreciated assets such as stocks or funds from a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) can offer significant tax advantages while providing robust support for our programs.
Gifts of stock and securities
A gift of appreciated publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual funds held for more than one year) is often one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. You generally receive an immediate tax deduction for the fair market value of the security on the date of the gift. You avoid paying capital gains tax on the increase in value of the asset. To initiate a transfer of stock, please contact our HR manager.
Donor-advised funds (DAFs)
A DAF is a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way to manage your charitable giving. If you already have a DAF, recommend a grant to Child Care Answers (EIN 84-4767288) by contacting your fund administrator (Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, community foundation, etc.). Ensure your fund administrator includes your name and mailing address with the grant so we can properly acknowledge your generosity.
Qualified charitable donations from an IRA
If you are age 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free distribution (up to $105,000 annually) directly from your IRA to Child Care Answers. This gift counts toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) without increasing your adjusted gross income, offering a powerful tax benefit even if you do not itemize deductions.
Involve your employer
Workplace and corporate giving
Matching gift programs
Many employers offer matching gift programs that will double or even triple your donation to a non-profit organization like Child Care Answers. Check with your company’s Human Resources department to see if your workplace uses a corporate matching gift search tool or if you need to complete a matching gift form.
Sponsorship and partnership
Child Care Answers welcomes corporate support for our programs, events, and strategic initiatives. Partnering with us demonstrates your commitment to the working families and economy of Central Indiana. Please contact us to discuss customized sponsorship opportunities.
Leaving a legacy
Planned giving
By naming CCA in your estate plan, your legacy gift is a testament to your belief in the power of early care and education.
Bequests in a will or trust
In a will or living trust, you can designate a specific dollar amount or a percentage or the residual of your estate to CCA.
Beneficiary designations
You can name CCA as a full or partial beneficiary of retirement accounts or life insurance policies. These assets pass to us outside of probate and can be a highly tax-efficient way to give.
If you have already included CCA in your estate plans, please connect with HR manager, Lane Heaney, so we can thank you and ensure we document your intentions properly.
