Body Safety for Preschoolers

Thursday, March 8, 2018 @ 6:15 pm - 8:30 pm

  • « Health and Safety Day 2 of 4- 2.5 hrs (INHS)
  • Safe Sleeping Practices and Reducing the Risk of SIDS in Child Care »

Statistics show 1 in 10 children will be sexually abused by their 18th birthday. Around 70% of children wont have the Body Safety talk with their caregivers. We want to help our children have a voice for themselves. This training will help give you the words to speak to your preschoolers about Body Safety and ways to teach them healthy boundaries with peers and adults. You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of child abuse and safety routines and regulations while understanding the language to use to assist and support the children in your care.
