Child Development Module 1 (INHS)

Child Development Module 1 focuses on the whole child. This course is an introduction to child development touching on each developmental domain for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Providers will be able to define child development, examine developmental domains for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Providers will also identify how to involve and collaborate with parents to support positive child development. Child development birth to five years of age. Child Development Module 1 focuses on the whole child. This course is an introduction to child development touching on each developmental domain for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Providers will be able to define child development, examine developmental domains for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Providers will also identify how to involve and collaborate with parents to support positive child development. Child development birth to five years of age. This training meets the Health and Safety orientation training requirements for topic areas: 8. Prevention of sudden infant death syndrome and use of safe sleeping practices (if applicable) 11.Major domains of Child Development (recommended)

Safe Sleeping Practices and Reducing the Risk of SIDS in Child Care
