Director Series: Helping Families Set Effective Expectations at Home

Tuesday, February 21, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • « Health- Module 2- 4 hrs. (INHS)
  • Foundations – Approaches to Play and Learning »

This workshop will focus on providing resources and information which early childhood leaders may use to support staff members and families in promoting positive guidance and discipline at home. Research tells us that helping families in understanding their childs development leads to better outcomes in children’s growth and in a parent’s self confidence in raising their children. As a leader and manager, your role is critical to fostering an early childhood setting that support social-emotional development of the children in your care.
