January’s Super Saturday begins with a workshop on observing children. Defined as “watching to learn,” observation is a key component in effective teaching and relationship building. With the information you gather from observing, you are better able to plan developmentally appropriate experiences, select the right materials, and ask questions to scaffold learning.
