Depression used to be considered an adult problem only, but we have seen an increase in children with depression. In fact, according to The Trauma & Mental Health Report, depression affects approximately 4% of preschoolers in the United States today, with the number diagnosed increasing by 23% every year. What does it look like in preschoolers? How can we help support them in the classroom?
