Parents as Partners Series: BUILDING Relationships with Parents and Families

A child’s first educator is their parent or guardian – how can we build relationships with those family members in order to best support the child? We will discuss the role of the family in early childhood education. We will identify ways we can better communicate with parents of the children in our care. Finally, we will give examples of ways you can put this into practice in your own child care environment.
