Preschool Intervention: Understanding School District Referrals and Evaluations

Join Melissa Drier, Franklin Township Early Childhood Coordinator, to explore steps to take when you suspect a child has developmental delays. Learn about red flags that might indicate a need for early intervention, how to explain the referral and evaluation process to parents, and what special education services may be available through local school districts. Participants will discuss how to support children in your programs who have Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
