The term self-regulation is a common buzz word in the field of early childhood education. Sometimes it may be difficult to know what it really means and how it relates to young children and their behaviors. In a nutshell it describes things children learn to manage over time. Some children are able to manage these skills quicker than others. This can present many challenges in the classroom. So what do you do in the mean time? Join us in this workshop to discuss how we help emotionally overloaded children build the skills they need to manage their strong emotions. Walk away with tools and strategies in supporting children who have high energy. Learn what components are needed in the environment to support children focus on tasks.
