Taking it Outside – Your Outdoor Classroom

Your playground is a learning environment too. We will discuss the learning that is occurring when young children are engaged in outdoor play. We will identify ways you can enhance your outdoor environment to include learning opportunities in multiple areas. Math, science, blocks, art, writing, and many other areas can be included in outdoor learning. Finally, you will draw your current outdoor environment, review it, and plan ways you can enhance it .
