Understanding and Nurturing a Child’s Fascination with Superheroes (2.25 hrs)

This workshop aims to answer the following questions: What is superhero play? Why is superhero play so appealing to children? What can teachers do about it? We will examine strategies which promote safe superhero play in the classroom and how superhero play can promote curiosity, exploration, and problem solving.
