Zero to Three: Promoting Communication Exchange

This module of the Zero to Three Critical Competencies will focus on understanding young children’s interest in and capacity to engage in communication exchanges. We will explore teaching strategies and practices to support, facilitate, and extend children’s engagement in communication. Participants will recognize the effect of a limited language environments on development of communication skills and demonstrate and identify strategies for encouraging and building dual/multi language learners skills.
