Associates Degrees in Early Childhood Education

Ivy Tech Community College offers an Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education, as well as a TSAP for those interested in continuing on to obtain a bachelor's degree. Ivy Tech is an approved college for the Indiana AEYC T.E.A.C.H. scholarship.

Bachelor's Degrees in Early Childhood Education

Indiana AEYC awards the T.E.A.C.H. scholarship for those pursuing higher education in early childhood education. These colleges and universities are approved for participation in the program for bachelor’s degrees.

Check with Indiana AEYC for specifics on their support for Master’s degrees.

  • Ball State University (Muncie): On-campus licensure degrees in Early Childhood PreK through Grade 3 and Early Childhood Family & Child .  Online non-licensure degrees in Early Childhood Special Ed and Early Childhood Infant-Toddler.

  • Bethel University (Mishawaka): On-campus non-licensure degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI): On-campus licensure degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-3)

  • Indiana Wesleyan University: Online licensure degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Martin University (Indianapolis): On-campus degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Oakland University (Rochester, MI): On-campus non-licensure degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Purdue University Northwest (Westville and Hammond): On-campus degrees in both non-licensure and licensure Early Childhood Education

  • Purdue University Fort Wayne: Online non-licensure degrees in Early Childhood Education (Birth through 5). On-campus licensur degrees in Early Childhood Educatoin (Pre-K through Grade 3) and dual-licensure degree in Elementary and Early Childhood.

  • Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College: Online licensure and non-licensure degrees in Early Childhood Education
