At Child Care Answers, we’ve made searching for child care easier than ever.

We help families look for quality child care, preschool, and school-age programs. Our services are free and accessible to all Central Indiana families. In order to provide the most current information to families, our database is updated every six months to reflect the most up-to-date rates, services, and hours.

Locating Care

Accessing a list of child care programs.

Our specialists can consult with you on which type of child care will best fit your needs, based on your child’s age or special needs. There are a number of ways for you to get started, depending on your preference and needs. We’re happy to help!

One of our Family Specialists can connect with you via email to provide a list of child care programs in your area and answer any questions you might have. Just fill out our Family Information Form so we can learn more about your family's individual needs.

Prefer to chat one-on-one? We will listen to your needs to provide a list of options for child care based on our conversation. We are also available to answer any questions after you call your providers, if you want additional referrals or have any other questions. Please contact us at 317.636.5727.

Care for Your Child’s Age Group

Your child has different emotional and developmental needs at various ages and stages. Child Care Answers can offer support and resources for you and your child, throughout each stage of development. We can also refer you to providers that meet your families’ needs, based on the age of your child and the programs they offer for that age group.

Pre-K

You may quality for financial support for your 4 year old through On My Way Pre-K, Indiana’s state funded Pre-K scholarship program. Apply online at Early Ed Connect.

Kindergarten

Sending your “baby” off to Kindergarten can be an emotional process. There are so many options to consider and new situations to navigate, but our resources can help you feel less overwhelmed.
